Swept Back/Skewed Negative Rake Scraper
Available now!
This is my new, patent pending negative rake scraper system. The double ended scraper provides two different profiles, and the magnetic handle makes it easy to switch between the two with no set screws or allen keys required. And don’t worry, the magnets don’t touch the blade, so the blade will not become magnetized. Great for bowl turning and spindle turning projects!
Swept Back/Skewed blade:
-10V steel
-11” long, 1 1/4” wide
-20 degree bevel angles on each side
-Swept back profile on one end, right hand skewed profile on the other
Handle:
-Two part magnetic handle
-6” long - meant for negative rake scraping, where very little leverage is required
-curved ergonomic design
-provides easy and quick interchange of blades and removal for sharpening, if necessary
-level on top reminds the user to keep the tool level while in use
-compatible with both Swept Back/Skewed blade and Curved/Skewed blade
Blade and Handle Made in the USA, designed by Ashley Harwood
